When tragedy strikes Trina Jackson’s uncomplicated, carefree world, she has to find a way to cope with the pain as well as the feeling of blame. Her answer comes in the form of a summer job as a waitress at the Bowspray Hotel hundreds of miles from home. The train rides to Banff for both Caroline and Trina, which involve two cowboys, a suave businessman, a handsome lifeguard, and a briefcase full of money, set in motion a chain of events that will change their lives forever.
